The Role

We are looking for a proactive, process-led Senior Producer to join our Content Studio team in Europe (Amsterdam or London based).
A proactive problem solver with excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrable experience of working efficiently and autonomously in a CGI-led production environment. A team player capable of leading in-house, offshore and partner Client Service teams, Art Directors, Motion Graphics Designers, CGI Artists and Retouchers in the production of beautiful brand assets. Always with an eye for quality, keeping track of budget, scope and schedule is your happy place – optimising processes to solve a problem before it arises.


Key Responsibilities

• Budgeting, estimating, scheduling, and managing production across several concurrent brands and projects.
• Managing all aspects of day-to-day production in a CGI-led studio environment.
• Proactively communicating and managing expectation with clients & client service teams about all aspects of production and project delivery.
• Identifying and clearly communicating project resource requirements in a consistent, accurate and timely manner.
• Working with Resource Managers and Producers in other global studio locations to proactively solve capacity challenges before they become a problem.
• Forecasting, requesting, booking, and on-boarding freelance resource, when necessary.
• Negotiating costings with external providers, ensuring their costs align to budgets and expectation.
• All aspects of production documentation management, including estimates, PO’s, NDA’s, MSA’s etc.
• Management of multiple third-party supplier relationships.
• Line management of 1-2 producers.


Skills and Abilities

• +5 years of experience working in the 3D space ideally producing brand and packaging content.
• Ability to craft and review SOWs with experience in accurately identifying project risks.
• Ability to quickly and effectively draft indicative project budgets in advance of concept approval.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to direct a team while promoting a positive morale in a fast-paced, delivery-driven environment.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite plus project management tools such as Shotgrid, Jira, Trello etc.
• Having a point of view on the tools required by teams to ensure consistency in best practice for production management – what to use when, and why.
• Ability to manage, coach and lead teams of production artists and direct reports.
• Ability to outline and develop best practises and processes – a leader, not a follower.

• Experience of pre/post-production & shooting of video and photo content.
• Background working in brand or packaging centric creative agencies.
• Experience working in globally connected, creative production studios.

Job Summary:

As a Senior Designer, you’ll be responsible to create design that translate brand needs into distinctive visual outcomes. Design craft and implement the brand experience across all touchpoints – Print & Digital; through cleverly applied insight, compelling conceptual territories, confident creativity and powerfully consistent activation. ?

You’ll know how to autonomously challenge a brief. Possessing in-depth knowledge of graphic design, styles and layout techniques, you’ll produce exceptional work, maintaining the brand experience across concepts and channels. You’ll work closely with Lead Designers, Art Director and Creative Studio Manager, helping to guide Middleweight and Junior team members and support their creativity.

-Job Responsibilities:

Work with Art Director and Lead Designer to understand the brief, brand guidelines and technical constraints for the project and aiding them guide middleweight and junior team members?.
Challenge the brief, delivering the expected and the unexpected in your response.
Autonomous in producing high-quality designs on medium to high complexity projects.
Championing and following our file set up, file naming and server filing procedures.
Adding value to internal design reviews, offering fresh perspective, giving feedback to executional consistency.
Be a team player. Keeping the channels of communication open between Design, artworking and management teams, seeking guidance and offering solutions when things change.
Effectively manage your time.
Manage an allocated production workload and report progress/issues to line manager.
Use internal Management Information System (MIS) to record accurate data on personal production timings.
Ensure all quality control procedures and production standards are adhered to.
Pro-actively assisting the team, contributing to studio inspiration and design events.

-Technical Skills Required

4-8 years’ experience within a Brand, Design, Comms or Media agency, in a Design roles

Understanding of strategic, creative and commercial aspect of brands and the world they inhabit?
Deep understanding of print production, materials and finishes?
Coaching and mentoring skills?
Emerging client presentation skills, discussing, defending design
A degree in Graphic Design, Product Design, Illustration or related field?
Knowledge of Visual Code and responsive web design is an advantage

Duties and responsibilities:

This position will be part of the quality control team and perform quality review of production
art and pre-press jobs to ensure products are produced accurately to supplied specifications
in a timely manner by performing the following duties. The quality control operator must thrive
in a professional, fast-paced environment, juggling multiple projects. Work is typically
performed under supervision, receiving guidance from senior operators about how the work
needs to be completed.

Essential Responsibilities, Accountabilities & Results

• Ability to read, understand and follow work instructions, specifications, workflow diagrams and SOPs
• Verify colors used and ensure common separations are respected
• Check job to ensure basic mark positions, correct including centers, corner trims, screen scales, punch marks, job name, color designations, and job data / labels if applicable
• Ensure the accuracy of the final data deliverable such as, but not limited to, PDF, TIFF, stepped LEN files, FTP upload and CD upload
• Measures job trim to trim to calculate length and width and any distortion
• Responsible for ensuring that all required checklist(s) are completed accordingly and in full, with any errors found subsequently corrected
• Flag any errors or deviations from standard work procedures to the Production Manager or Supervisor
• Complete task assignments MySGS.
• Participate in process improvement efforts and various production meetings to foster a positive creative impact on the business.
• Possess ability to learn and develop within a team and through direct mentorship
• Maintain a clean area by adhering to clean desk policy and picking up as needed.
• Be flexible to fill-in for others throughout the team as needed.
• Support and complete any and all documentation or processes required by the company’s Quality Program
